UPDATED: Information regarding Violence & Vandalism:
The V&V Access database is no longer available to submit school and district V&V data to PED. As the data is being transitioned into STARS, the 2007-08 Violence and Vandalism data can be reported in 2 formats:
1. V&V Data can be entered directly into STARS- use the Student Infraction and Infraction Response templates. The STARS manual is updated to reflect the V&V requirements, please use to navigate through the templates.
2. V&V data can also be entered via the STARS Access database. This database is an Access format and can be located by clicking on the STARS logo and selecting Links and then Documentation. If you currently use this database to upload other data, make sure you have the most recent version that includes V&V. If you have never used this database, download and begin using. The STARS manual is updated to reflect the V&V requirements, please use to navigate through the database.
For questions on technical issues with either option, please contact the STARS helpdesk at: 505-827-7935.
For questions on how to report the data, or clarification on the options, please contact Jennifer Rodgers at 505-222-4745 or jennifer.rodgers@state.nm.us.
The 2007-08 data is due to PED August 1, 2008.
